Briery Creek Lake

Briery Creek Lake is a 845-acre reservoir located in Prince Edward County, Virginia. The lake was created in 1988 by damming Briery Creek and is managed by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries. The lake offers a variety of recreational activities, including fishing, boating, swimming, and camping. Popular fish species include largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and channel catfish. The lake has four boat ramps, a fishing pier, and two campgrounds with a total of 42 campsites. Briery Creek Lake is also a popular spot for birdwatching, with over 200 species of birds recorded in the area.
